THE WINE

In a region of winemaking traditions, we created an organic vineyard, at 600 meters altitude, with the Arinto, Malvasia Fina Gouveio and Fernão Pires grape varieties, where the white wine Quinta da Moita, Terrasde Cister appears. 

The aroma reflects tropical notes, citric and floral hints. On the palate it is balanced between volume and freshness. The nuances of vanilla and stone fruit arise and the end is long and mineral, focused on the acidity of textured body. We did not resign and went looking for a vineyard of red grapes in the Douro valley.

We were conquered by a plateau of Adorigo, Tabuaço. In the vineyard of Cumieira, we created the red wine named Encaminhado with the Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca and Touriga Nacional grape varieties: of intense expression, the red and forest fruit, aging notes in French oak, giving complexity, and a beautiful tanic structure antcipating a growth in bottle.
